1. Who we are
Grow with Maomao and the game Feelings Time (together, the “Service”) are made by CHE-FEN HUANG, an individual operating as a sole proprietor under the brand “Grow with Maomao” (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Who these terms are for
The Service is designed for young children to play with a parent or caregiver. These terms are an agreement with the adult who uses or buys the Service (“you”). You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase. By using the Service or making a purchase, you accept these terms.
3. The Service
- Feelings Time is a browser-based game played at growwithmaomao.com. Some content is free. Additional content can be unlocked with a one-time purchase, as described on our Pricing page.
- The Service is for gentle, play-based learning about feelings. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a diagnostic tool. If you have concerns about your child’s development or wellbeing, please talk to a qualified professional.
- We may improve, change, or add content over time. If we remove content you paid for, you can ask for a refund under our Refund Policy.
4. Purchases and payment
- All purchases are made through Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle’s own buyer terms also apply to your purchase, and Paddle processes your payment details. We never see or store your card details.
- Before you pay, Paddle’s checkout shows the price, including any applicable sales tax or VAT. The “Unlock all stories” purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription. If we offer subscriptions in the future, their price, billing period, and how to cancel will be clearly shown before you subscribe.
- After payment, your unlock is delivered right away in the game on the device and browser you used. Our Support page explains how to restore it elsewhere.
- Purchases are for personal, non-commercial family use.
5. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase with no questions asked. See our Refund Policy. Refunds are handled by Paddle. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Acceptable use
Please don’t copy, resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the Service, try to get paid content without paying, or interfere with the website’s operation.
7. Intellectual property
Maomao, the stories, artwork, sounds, music, and software are owned by CHE-FEN HUANG or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the unlocked content within the Service. It does not transfer ownership.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we and Paddle use. In short, the game has no ads and no third-party trackers, and it keeps progress only on your device.
9. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep the Service available and working well, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and for important changes we’ll give notice on this website. Changes don’t apply retroactively to purchases you’ve already made.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where CHE-FEN HUANG is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
